Definition / meaning of prayer.
1. Prayer or prayer according to Arabic is Benediction.
2. Prayer is worship rights in relationship between man and Allah swt. Humans
can remembrance of God, can turn a Amali creed or deed and thought,
remembrance of the Prophet, the Qur'an and bring people to the straight
path, the path that was given instructions by Allah swt.
3. Prayers can prove devotion to God according to His commandments sepertimana teaching Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet. that is commendable and instructed by God so that they might receive the glory.
4. Prayer
suggests cleanse or purify themselves and escort from falling into the
valley of humiliation and ugliness and immorality or memebersikan human
instincts are not councilors. Word of Allah swt:
"And diriklanlah prayer, real prayer restrains from shameful and unjust perbuatn"- (Surah Al-Ankabut: 43)
5. Through
prayer we would be far from the restless nature and was always in a
state of uneasy calm to draw closer to God setiapa period. The Word of God:
"Seungguhnya
man become restless restless temper, apabla he struck trouble, he was
very restless and agitated when he hath pleasure, he was very miserly
stingy; except those who work in prayer."- (Surah Al-Ma'rij: 19-23)
6. The
nature of prayer is the proof of perfection do the rights of devotion
to God Almighty, otherwise leave the prayer is a sign of man who drowned
in lust ungrateful to Allah swt. The Word of God:
"Then
they were replaced by the descendants of the mencuaikan prayers and by
lust (by doing immoral) then they face punishment (in Hell)- (Surah Maryam: 59)
7. Prayers can be distanced from the prevailing distress and anxiety, and begged the help of God Almighty. The purpose of the hadith, "Allah makes ketenagan my eyes in prayer '.
And the word of allah swt:
"And ask for help (to Allah) with the patient and do the prayer"- (Surah Al-Baqarah: 153)
